Oleg Suprunyuk is known to residents of Brest region as a reporter who covered socially and publicly significant problems of the region. During his time in the profession, he worked for the newspaper "Brest Courier", the online publication "First Region", and collaborated with other independent publications.

On August 9, 2020, he was wounded at a rally against election fraud in Baranovichi. He was shot in the shin with rubber bullets. Five times he managed to throw away flash-bang grenades flying at people, and the sixth exploded in his hands. He was stunned by the explosion, people carried him out in their arms and called an ambulance. After first aid, he returned to the rally and was detained a short time later. He, completely bandaged, was beaten with truncheons in a paddy wagon and imprisoned for 5 days.
