Moiseichik Ivan made guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed penalties in the form of a fine totaling at least 960 rubles and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 23 days. As a judge in 2012, he convicted a journalist who was filming a rally of solidarity with political prisoners near the KGB building. In 2016, he condemned the participants in a rally of entrepreneurs that took place on February 28. He handed down guilty verdicts to the participants in the rally in support of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, and to the participants in the “For New Fair Elections” campaign.
