Responsible for all illegal actions against prisoners in penal colony No. 17. Such actions include psychological and, in some cases, physical violence, illegal sending to solitary confinement, restrictions on correspondence and receiving packages from persons in the institution. Political prisoner Vitold Ashurok, who was given more than ten penalties on trumped-up grounds and sent to solitary confinement, from which he never left, died in this colony. In particular, his actions clearly show disregard for the rights of prisoners, including for political reasons.
