In 2011, he issued a guilty verdict in an administrative case against Tatyana Vasilyevna Gatsur-Yavorskaya, who was pregnant at the time. The mother of many children, together with her two sons, held a performance in the center of Minsk. She protested against the death penalty in the country, for which she received a fine of 20 basic units.
