Number of repressed: 44
Date of birth: 11 february 1974
Categories: Judges

Dina Valentinovna Kuchuk is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus.
Kuchuk bears personal responsibility for the fact that, as a judge of the Minsk City Court, he regularly issues politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society. In judicial practice, Kuchuk considers not only administrative cases, but also criminal ones. As a result of her decisions, many Belarusians who opposed the repressive regime in force in the country were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
In particular, on February 5, 2021, Dina Kuchuk sentenced political prisoner Pavel Spirin to four years and six months of imprisonment in a general regime correctional colony.
On May 25, 2023, Kuchuk sentenced political prisoner Svetlana Bychkovskaya to five years and six months in a general regime colony.
On July 24, 2023, the judge sentenced political prisoner Yuri Adamov to three years in prison for making 24 donations to the BySol and ByHelp foundations totaling $1,590.
Thus, Dina Valentinovna Kuchuk bears personal responsibility for violations of human rights and undermining the principles of the rule of law, as well as for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition. Her work within the judiciary is focused on maintaining the position of the existing government, rather than on enforcing the law. Kuchuk’s actions contribute to human rights violations, strengthening the power of Alexander Lukashenko and increasing politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.

Elena, a sole proprietor, was detained and charged with "inciting ethnic hatred" and "cynical treatment of the victims of the terrorist attack." In late March, she wrote on a Telegram channel: "In Russia, they only see the victims in Crocus City, and they don't see the victims of Russia's bombing of Ukraine."

Gomel Prosecutor Vladislav Zhurakovsky mentioned her case, stating that a criminal case had been opened against her "under the extremism statute" for "insulting the Russian people" on "opposition Ukrainian internet resources." She was also convicted of "assisting extremist activity."

It also became known that Elena's health had deteriorated in the pretrial detention center. She was placed on bed rest, which allowed her to lie on the bed for several hours a day. She frequently visited doctors, and was sometimes prescribed injections.

In September 2025 , she was released, having fully served her sentence.
