Mikhail was arrested in October 2021 in connection with a criminal case opened for online comments following the deaths of KGB officer Dmitry Fedosyuk and IT specialist Andrei Zeltser in Minsk. In November 2022, he was sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.
He was released in the summer of 2023, having served his full sentence.
Karpeshko and two of his friends had their own private chat for three people. After the beginning of the military invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine, in March 2022, Michael left a comment in which he wrote about the experience that wars could begin on the territory of Belarus. For this message, the man was detained and convicted.
Witnesses at the trial were two other chat participants – friends of Karpeshko, who had previously been brought to administrative responsibility under Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus.
At the trial, the materials of the Karpeshko case indicated that the man had left a message in a «public chat in Telegram».

As established during the judicial investigation, the minor Soldatenko arrived in the central part of Zhlobin on the evening of August 9, 2020, where the protest took place.

He was detained for a chat-roulette conversation with Yuri Komar.
During the conversation, he asked Ukrainians for weapons, and to Komar's question: «Are you going to kill supporters of the current government?»; he answered: «Yes».
Dmitry was detained together with a friend — white-red-white flags were put on their heads, and then they were forced to wash the floor with these flags.
An appeal hearing was held on September 19, 2023. The verdict came into force.

Yuri, an MMZ employee, was arrested on November 16, 2022, allegedly for participating in protests. In February 2023, he was convicted of "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation therein" and sentenced to restricted freedom with assignment. The details and circumstances of the case, as well as information about where he is serving his sentence, are unknown.

Evgeny Vasilevsky was detained almost a year ago in Moscow, from March 25 to April 7, 2022, he was sentenced to administrative arrest under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (violation of the procedure for organizing or holding mass events).
The essence of the accusation is still unknown. Probably, we are talking about the transfer of personal data of security forces to protest chats.
In the fall of 2023, he was released after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.

Former police officer Alexander Sazonov and Yevgeny Vasilevsky were detained almost a year ago, on February 27, 2022, in Minsk, and on March 1, both were punished with administrative arrest under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (violation of the procedure for organizing or holding mass events).
The Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk sentenced Sazonov to 13 days of arrest for participating in a protest against the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Vasilevsky to 15 days.
The essence of the accusation is still unknown. It is likely that it concerns the transfer of personal data of security officials to protest chats.
According to human rights activists, he was released on September 9, 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
