After a 15-day administrative arrest, a criminal case was opened against a resident of Minsk, Alla Novikova.
First, law enforcement officials found out that the woman was subscribed to the telegram channel («Chkalova Info»), which is recognized as an extremist formation in Belarus, and Alla also reposted news from this channel.
Then, while Alla was in a temporary detention facility, law enforcement officials found photos from the 2020 protests in her phone.

On February 10, 2023, the first trial took place under Articles 369 and 364 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus; the appeal hearing was on April 7, 2023.
On October 16, 2023, a new trial was held under Articles 369 and 368 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus; no appeal was filed.
