In the summer of 2023, the court found Pavel guilty under Article 293, Part 3 of the Criminal Code (mass riots) for publishing information on how to make a Molotov cocktail on Telegram in August 2020. At that time, the guy had just finished school.
According to human rights activists, he was released on April 20, 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

According to the prosecution , the man repeatedly posted comments in an open telegram group in 2020. They saw a “negative assessment of a group of people united by activity” - the Belarusian army, members of election commissions, including its chairman, the police and riot police.
Ignatovich also “deliberately posted text messages on Telegram with calls for group actions that grossly violated public order, persuaded and encouraged them to participate in group actions, namely to unite and gather people, take them out onto the streets, disrupt the normal work of organizations and enterprises, government bodies, as well as law enforcement agencies.”
