His last known job was as a financial controller for the Belkanton Group, a large office supplies distribution company that, among other things, owns the Afiston chain of stores and Office Life magazine. Judging by Linkedin, Vladimir quit his job no later than July 2023 and moved to live in Poland. Presumably, he was detained upon his return to Belarus. The activities of the individual entrepreneur were suspended on November 5, 2023.
24.04. 2024, a pro-government telegram channel published a video about the detention of Mogilev driving school teacher Ekaterina Kostuseva, daughter of the leader of the Belarusian Popular Front party Grigory Kostusev. On camera, the woman says that in 2020 she “provided assistance to the extremist formation “Viasna”” and in 2021 registered in the “Plan Peramogi” bot.
The authors of the channel do not specify what exactly the detainee is charged with.
According to pro-government telegram channels, he was detained on April 16, 2024 for participating in protests in 2020.
