Yana is originally from Gomel, but has lived in Minsk for a long time. She graduated from the Belarusian State Technological University (BSTU).
Yana devoted almost all her free time to an active lifestyle and sports, introducing her son to them, and together they participated in family bike marathons. Yana is also a keen slackliner—an extreme form of walking along ropes and slings. Additionally, Ranko has repeatedly competed in the Bison Race obstacle race, competed in the Minskrun, and won prizes in climbing walls.
Yana has a son.
