According to the human rights center Vesna, Vladislav communicated with political prisoner Mykola Dedok in the penal colony, despite the dangers involved. In 2020, he participated in protests in the penal colony, for which he was recognized as the organizer of these protests and placed on a preventive watch list. Therefore, after serving seven years of his sentence under Article 328 (drug offense), he is now imprisoned for participating in non-violent resistance actions in the Babruisk penal colony.
