On the night of October 13-14, 2023, in the center of the pine forest, the official red-green flag was removed from the flagpole and thrown into the ballot box, and the flag of Ukraine was attached in its place. The person who did this was detained based on the recording of a video surveillance camera installed on the village council building. Valery Samsonenko previously worked in the Svetlogorsk regional department for emergency situations, but left there.
On April 5, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict came into force.
