Svetlana, a former employee of the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant in Zhlobin, was arrested in the fall of 2021 as part of a criminal case brought against plant employees who supported the strike and were part of the "Rabochy Rukh" (Workers' Movement) initiative, under the article on treason. On September 21, 2021, this initiative was designated an extremist organization, following which mass arrests of workers took place across the country.
Released on bail in November 2021.
In June 2022, it became known that the criminal case against Svetlana was dropped.
How to write a letter

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:
👉️️ harsh statements regarding ongoing political matters
👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
