Stanislav was detained in a hotel in Moscow. He was put on the wanted list in the Republic of Belarus under Article 368 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus - “Insulting the President of the Republic of Belarus.”
To avoid criminal prosecution, Ilyin decided to get lost in Russia. However, on November 14, the police raided the hotel and detained Ilyin.
He was extradited to Belarus.
On November 10, 2023, he was released upon expiration of his sentence.
