Polina is a financial specialist by training, having graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Belarusian State University of Economics. However, she has dedicated her life to the creative arts.
She's a well-known photographer, having shot in Baranovichi and Minsk. In her profile, she wrote that she creates "women's portraits and family stories you can believe in," and that she photographs "as if she's in love with you."
Polina has a husband and a very young child. She only became a mother in July 2025. It is unknown exactly when the security forces came to Polina's home and whether she was held in pre-trial detention.

How to write a letter

✍️️ Remember that every letter is censored. This means that your letters are read by strangers whose main goal is to limit inmates' access to information or to use it against the prisoners or even you.
So try to avoid:
👉️️ harsh statements regarding ongoing political matters
👉 statements against the authorities and public servants
👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
