Mikhail graduated from the Belarusian National Technical University, where he studied in the Faculty of Information Technology and Robotics. He is the creator of the startup HandEnergy, a smartphone charger that generates electricity through the mechanical motion of the hand, allowing it to charge smartphones. In 2017, Belarusian and international media reported on the development. Mikhail lived and traveled abroad for a long time, including in Europe and the United States. In early December, he was detained in Gomel. Human rights activists believe the criminal prosecution is politically motivated and connected to the "Gayun case."
