Following a search in April 2025, Maximwas detained . According to preliminary reports, the apartment where he lived with his girlfriend was sealed. He was initially held in a KGB pretrial detention facility; he is currently in Pretrial Detention Center No. 1.
He was released in the summer of 2026.
