Yauhen used to serve in the special forces and later worked for the Asipovichy housing and utilities service. On 9 August 2020, he was detained at a protest held in Asipovichy after the presidential election and was arrested. After actively taking part in the protests in the autumn of 2020, he was fired from his job.
In April 2022, Yauhen was detained for comments on the internet. Pro-government Telegram channels called him the creator of the "Osipovichi dlya zhizni" channel. His further fate is unknown.
