Katsiaryna worked as a pastry chef at a French bakery near Square of Changes. In October 2020, she was fined for taking part in the Proud Women's March of Professions.
On February 22, 2022, Katsiaryna was detained in front of her eight-year-old daughter.
In May 2022, Katsiaryna was found guilty in a criminal case initiated under the article "Organisation and preparation of actions grossly violating public order, or active participation in them" for taking part in the protests held in Minsk in 2020 and sentenced to restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility. She was released in the courtroom.
