On August 9, 2020, Egor stood on the bumper of a paddy wagon, but then unsuccessfully fell under the wheels. After that, he was beaten by riot police and sent to the hospital. He was later placed in custody on charges of participating in a protest.
Released on April 30, 2022, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
