Dmitry Silin is the executive director of the Silin family farm. It was founded in Recheniaty, Volozhin District, in the late 1990s by Nikolai Silin, Dmitry's father. The family's holdings span over 500 hectares, scattered throughout the district. One of the farm's specialties is buckwheat. They also sell potatoes extensively.
Dmitry Silin is a father of many children; he and his wife have three children.
