Anton was detained in connection with a criminal case opened over the events of July 14, 2020, in Minsk, when people took to the streets to protest the Central Election Commission's decision not to register Viktor Babariko and Valery Tsepkalo as presidential candidates. He was convicted under the article "Violence or threat of violence against an employee of the internal affairs bodies."
On July 26, 2023, he was released, having fully served his sentence imposed by the court.
Trial outcome 18.11.2020: 3 years of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions, 1000 rubles of compensation.
