He was detained and convicted on September 5, 2023 under an administrative article for “distribution, production, storage, transportation of information products containing calls for extremist activities or promoting such activities.” After which a criminal case was opened .
In 2015, Anatoly won the European Muay Thai Championship. A year later he became the first world champion in Muay Thai from Gomel. He won the gold medal in a dramatic final against a Russian while boxing with an injured hand. He combined sports with work as a Photoshop specialist in a funeral agency.
On April 5, 2024, the appeal was considered and the verdict came into force.
