Before the Russian-Ukrainian war, Anastasia and her husband lived in the city of Lisichansk in Ukraine's Luhansk region. According to social media posts , after the war broke out, Anastasia and her husband moved to Mozyr. There, she reportedly worked as a craftswoman, making handmade decorative soap.
Anastasia was among 31 Ukrainian citizens who were released from prison on November 22, 2025 , and returned to their homeland.
