The activist was detained along with several employees of the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus on September 5, 2022. He received 13 days of administrative arrest, but was never released again.
On July 11, 2023, an appeal hearing was held. The verdict came into force.
