Alexander Nikolaevich Meleshko

Head of the Laboratory of Genetic Biotechnologies of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology, Candidate of Biological Sciences. He has 20 years of work experience, previously he was a member of the governing body of the primary organization of the Free Trade Union of Belarus in the RSPC DOGI. At first, Alexander was placed in a temporary detention center on Akrestsina Street as part of a criminal case. Six days later, he was released under the guarantee of his colleagues, since Alexander is a valuable specialist. He was accused of participating in two Sunday Marches in Minsk - on August 23 and 30, 2020. Prior to the trial, Meleshko was at large.
