Alexander says in a video on a pro-government channel that he was detained for distributing “extremist” materials on the Internet, and that he also participated in rallies in 2020.
Since 2009 he has lived in Poland and has had a residence permit since 2017. On January 6, he arrived in Belarus with his family.
