The couple were accused of participating in one of the peaceful protests in Minsk in 2020.

He was accused of taking part in the “March for Freedom” in Minsk on August 16, 2020, the defendant fully admitted his guilt in court and repented. He explained that he "succumbed to the actions of the crowd." Evidence of Ilya's participation in the rally was the billing data, as well as a video recording in which "the accused was fixed on the roadway next to people with white-red-white symbols." Kryuk was kept in custody until the trial. After the verdict was announced, he was released in the courtroom.

According to the prosecution, Roman Soroka and Anton Ruchan took part in a march in September 2020 near Romanovskaya Sloboda Street. Including, they protested on the roadway. Anton “as a symbol of protest” had a white-red-white flag with him: the man said that it did not belong to him, someone just let him use it for photography. Both men also pleaded guilty. They recognized themselves in the photographs that found on the phone.

Vladislav was arrested in November 2021 in connection with a criminal case involving group actions that grossly violated public order. In April 2022, he was found guilty and sentenced to restricted freedom and placement in an open-type facility.

In December 2024, a court hearing was held to discuss the issue of replacing the restricted freedom sentence with a prison term in a penal colony. The outcome of the hearing, as well as Vladislav's presence, remains unknown.
