Gennady Aleksandrovich Mazailo
Crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Mazailo Gennady Aleksandrovich is an employee of the judicial authorities involved in politically motivated repressions, in which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders and activists were detained and subjected to violence. He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, for which he imposed fines totaling at least 4,715 rubles as punishment. Convicted former employee of Grodno Azot Eduard Isaev and sentenced him to 3.5 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony under Part 2 of Article 367 and Part 2 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code. Mazailo found him guilty of liking an offensive post depicting Lukashenko on the Internet. He sentenced Pavel Klapatka, who was found guilty of insulting and slandering Lukashenko, as well as desecration of state symbols for offensive publications on the Internet. Mazailo sentenced him to imprisonment for a term of three years to be served in a correctional colony under general regime conditions. He pronounced a sentence on peaceful protester Vadim Saranchukov, who was found guilty under Article 23.32 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and sentenced him to 30 basic units.
