During the 2020 elections, his wife Olga was an independent observer, and Andrei withdrew her complaint to the commission, for which he was arrested for 15 days. Due to persecution, he left for Lithuania, where he continued to call officials and created a satirical duet "Red Green" with Margarita Levchuk — they released videos on YouTube ridiculing the Belarusian authorities.
In March 2024, a criminal case was opened against him as part of a special proceeding, including articles on "inciting hatred" and "creating an extremist group." In June, Andrei was convicted in absentia, found guilty of leading the "Rudobelskaya show" and other "crimes," and sentenced to imprisonment and a large fine.
