A former journalist for Media-Polesye, Yevgeny was severely beaten during the protests.

On August 10, 2020, Yevgeny went to the protests as a journalist. He was detained , first beaten by police in the Pinsk City Executive Committee restroom, then in a police van. He was then taken to the Pinsk City Police Department's shooting range, where Ales Romanovich saw him badly beaten. He was then placed in the Pinsk temporary detention facility, and then taken to the pretrial detention center of the Ivatsevichi colony, where security forces had housed some of the detainees.

A week after the beating, the journalist still had bruises. It was reported that traces of the beating remained on his face even a month later, including deep scars. Media-Polesye also reported at the time that its employee had suffered an eye injury.

According to human rights activists , he was released in the fall of 2025, having fully served his sentence.

Valentina has a disability and groups, lives on a pension. After the elections, she was repeatedly fined under political administrative articles. Thus, in 2021, the woman was fined 1,160 rubles for a photo with a quote from the Bible " when the wicked reigns, the people groan." This was considered "unauthorized picketing."

During the peaceful marches in Vitebsk, Valentina used a wheelchair because she has difficulty walking.

In September 2024, it became known that Valentina would be tried for “assisting extremist activity.”

Kirill worked at various factories and companies selling industrial equipment. In 2015, he founded a small company, Grifkom-Vector, which sold assembly line components (it closed in 2021). Kirill writes music and film scripts and is also listed in the national register of copyright holders.

He was detained in January 2024: initially for several days for “petty hooliganism,” but then he was not released and a criminal case was opened.

In September 2024, Kirill was convicted of "calls to actions aimed at harming the national security of the Republic of Belarus" and sentenced to imprisonment. In February 2025, he was convicted again, this time under the articles "creating or participating in an extremist group" and "inciting hostility or discord," and also sentenced to imprisonment.

On December 13, 2025, he was released following a visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole, and taken to Ukraine.
