The girl lived in Vilnius for several years, but at the end of 2025, she decided to return to Belarus. Kristina settled in a village, recorded neutral videos, and avoided attracting attention to herself.
"The desire to return to my native land proved stronger than everything else. I didn't possess any valuable information, I thought, and most likely, no one would be interested in me. But things turned out differently. Some people from the émigré community, driven by their schizophrenia and conspiracy theories, deliberately orchestrated a hell on earth for me and a collective campaign of persecution (the goal of which was to put me in prison, on the bottle, and so on). So, in their worlds, if someone managed to return to Belarus without going to jail, it was their duty to put that little person in jail," Kristina wrote on social media in February 2026.
The discussion centered on public accusations from bloggers Ksenia Pleshkova, Sergei Petrukhin, and Alesya Parkhomenko, who attempted to draw the attention of security forces to Vasina's alleged involvement in the activities of Tikhanovskaya's office.
Ultimately, Kristina was arrested. The prosecutor's office requested a prison sentence for her, but she ultimately received two and a half years of chemotherapy with a referral.
