Dmitry, a UX/UI designer, was arrested on August 11, 2020, on charges of organizing mass riots.
In March and September 2021, he was found guilty twice under charges of "organizing mass riots" and "illegal actions against objects whose destructive effect is based on the use of flammable substances." His total prison sentence was eight years.
In March 2023, Dmitry's sentence was increased and he was transferred to a prison regime for a term of three years.
On March 19, 2026, he was released after another visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole, and taken to Lithuania.
