Alexandra works as a manager at the logistics company Trans Solutions. The reason for the arrest was her photographs on Tinder, where she stands on the road with a white-red-white flag during one of the protest marches in 2020. In 2021, she publicly announced that she was leaving journalism. She explained her departure by saying that she had already had enough of being persecuted for working without accreditation. The comment was written in the telegram chat «Belaruski Gayun Chat» (a chat associated with the channel Belaruski Gayun», which tracked the movement of Russian troops on the territory of Belarus). The text contains the word «rats», and the state prosecution interprets this as referring to Lukashenko. In addition, at the trial, the prosecutor pointed out that this word is profanity.
