On October 14, 2011, he held a conversation with activist Viktor Buzinaev at the Department of Internal Affairs, threatening him with a fine and administrative arrest for participating in street protests. On November 10, 2014, he told dismissed TDiA workers who went on a hunger strike that their actions were an unauthorized action. On August 10, 2020, he supervised the detention of relatives and friends who were near the temporary detention facility in Babruisk awaiting information. He personally took part in detentions: he ran with a baton, detained women and journalists. On August 12, 2020, he led the suppression of peaceful protests, participated in the repression of protesters in Babruisk. Member of the "All-Belarusian People's Assembly".

Alexander Eliseev is a social activist from Kalenkovichi . He was a member of the United Civil Party, which was liquidated in Belarus . Eliseev participated in numerous independent election observations at various levels, and because he witnessed violations of democratic procedures in all of them, he argued that the decisions of an illegitimate government cannot be implemented.

In 2020 and later, authorities detained him and imposed lengthy administrative arrests . During one of these arrests, he went on a hunger strike. This was in February 2022, when he was arrested five days before the Russian occupation army began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Alexander refused to pay the fines imposed on him for politically motivated administrative charges.

In November 2025, it became known that Alexander was being held in a pretrial detention center in Mogilev. According to preliminary information, he is accused of treason and insulting Lukashenko.

On April 18, 2023, in the court of Mozyr and Mozyr district, a process was held to replace Dmitry Ivanov’s sentence with a more severe one. He was placed in the Mozyr temporary detention center. The judge decided to transfer the political prisoner to a colony for a period of 8 months and 11 days .

According to human rights activists, he will be released in December 2023.
