It is known from the prosecution materials that Kushnarev, using a mobile phone from August 2020 to February 2022, repeatedly posted publications on his page on the ok.ru, which contained insults to the President, the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in connection with the performance of their duties.
At the same time, at the discretion of the court, deliberately false and untrue data were given in the publications, discrediting and degrading the honor and dignity of the victims.

A resident of the village of Ilyich, Rogachev district. Detained under Articles 130 and 369 of the Criminal Code. On September 1, 2022, a verdict was passed: the political prisoner was found guilty and sentenced to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
On April 26, 2023, the Gomel Regional Court began hearing a new criminal case against a political prisoner. The political prisoner was transferred to Pre-trial Detention Center No. 3 .
As a result of the second trial, Andrey was sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment in a general regime penal colony. The trial was held behind closed doors on May 22, 2023.
On September 11, 2025, it became known that 52 prisoners of the Belarusian regime were forcibly transferred to the territory of Lithuania. Among them are citizens of European countries. Among those released is Andrei Stepankov.
Denis was convicted for writing the words “We will not forget” at the site of the death of Alexander Taraikovsky, who was shot dead near the Pushkinskaya metro station during a protest that took place on August 10, 2020 in Minsk.
The political prisoner was detained again on February 15, 2022, in the "extremist chat" case, and in July 2022, he was convicted of insulting a government official on social media. The court sentenced him to one year and seven months in prison, taking into account the unserved term.
On June 10, 2023, he was released, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.

The social activist was detained on January 3, 2021, at her home after security forces broke down the door, conducted a search, and seized some of her belongings. Polina was convicted of "threatening to use violence against an internal affairs officer" and "insulting a government official." She refused to testify either during the investigation or in court.
In April 2022, Polina's sentence was extended on charges of "disobeying the demands of the prison administration," and in October 2023, she was convicted again under the same article. Polina is the first female political prisoner in Belarus to be convicted under this article. The article is used against prisoners who refuse to cooperate with the administration, often for alleged violations.
The political prisoner is systematically subjected to psychological pressure and physical violence; she has been repeatedly placed in solitary confinement, punishment cells and punishment cells.
The BNR Rada awarded Polina Sharendo-Panasyuk the Order of the Pursuit.
In March 2024, a propaganda story about Polina accidentally showed a yellow tag indicating the end date of her imprisonment: May 21. However, she was not released on that day, and she was charged for the third time with “disobeying the prison administration,” for which she was convicted again in October 2024.
She was released on February 1, 2025, having fully served her sentence (4 consecutive terms).

The activist, human rights defender and volunteer of the Gomel branch of the Human Rights Center "Viasna" was detained at the airport on January 21, 2021. She was later convicted of "organizing or actively participating in group actions that grossly violate public order."
On September 24, 2022, Tatyana was released on pardon, having spent 1 year and 8 months in prison.

Leonid, the Chairman of the Gomel branch of the Human Rights Center "Viasna", is a human rights activist with 20 years of experience in restoring violated rights of citizens. He was actively involved in preparing and sending numerous individual appeals to the UN Human Rights Committee against Belarus. In 2020, Leonid provided legal assistance in appealing court decisions in cases of participants in rallies in Gomel that took place after the falsification of the presidential elections. In January 2021, he was detained and convicted for participating in protests.
He was released on July 21, 2023, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
In early March 2024, a criminal case was opened against Leonid in absentia for "assisting extremist activity." In June of the same year, a trial in absentia took place, where he was sentenced to imprisonment and a large fine.
