As a judge and chairman of the Molodechno district court, he was involved in the introduction of politically motivated repressions on the territory of Belarus. He took part in various trials against political activists, journalists, opposition leaders and other citizens who were accused of politically motivated crimes by his decision. Sinyavsky was also responsible for threatening lawyers and journalists who tried to report human rights violations. He also ignored and violated international human rights standards and failed to fulfill his duties as an independent judge, whose selection by law must be based on competence and professionalism in the process of implementing legal guarantees for all citizens of Belarus.
