He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed punishment in the form of a fine in a total amount of at least 5,255 rubles and in the form of administrative arrest for at least 24 days. He convicted Denis Kiselyov under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code (insulting Lukashenko) for a photo of his middle finger in front of a TV with Lukashenko’s speech on New Year’s Eve, which he posted in a closed telegram chat. Zdanovich imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of restriction of freedom with a transfer to an open correctional facility. In addition, Denis’s smartphone, from which the same photo was taken and posted, was confiscated. Convicted Vitaliy Zarodey, accused under Articles 391 of the Criminal Code (Insulting judges) and 368 of the Criminal Code (Insulting Lukashenko) and imposed a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment under Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code and two years of restriction of freedom without referral to the IWOT under Article 391 CC. By partial addition of sentences, political prisoner Vitaliy Zarodey was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.

Vitaly was arrested in March 2021 and convicted of "insulting" several Brest judges and Lukashenko. The charges were based on the fact that he filed claims in the court registry containing "negative assessments" that were recognized by experts as offensive.
He was released in December 2022, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
In December 2023, the Brest District Court heard a new criminal case against Vitaly under the articles for "insult" and "damage to documents" in a closed session. Vitaly did not appear in court, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.
