A 41-year-old resident of Grodno was detained by border guards while trying to leave Belarus. He was accused of fixing a white-red-white flag on a flagpole over a red-green flag in July 2021 on the Mound of Glory. This, according to law enforcement officers, he did "with the aim of desecrating state symbols."
On May 27, 2023, he was released after the expiration of his sentence.
