Earlier, Yevgeny Olegovich Kotlyarov became known for the fact that his denunciations became the basis for the charges against several Gomel residents under administrative and criminal articles, including he was a witness in the case of human rights activist Leonid Sudalenko .
In 2023, Kotlyarov drew attention to the legality of the actions of local authorities, which led to his being sought by the police and placed in a temporary detention facility. In early 2024, under pressure from government agencies, he was forced to clean up his Facebook page.
Kotlyarov was detained in the spring of 2024 after publishing several videos in which he criticized the actions of an official of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, Andrei Baranovsky .

After the sentence comes into effect, it is only possible to write letters to a prisoner. 👉 foul language
👉 discussion of the circumstances of the criminal case
